Tom Carey is equal parts hilarious as he is talented. A quick-witted photographer from Orange County, Tom has been imbedded in the surf scene for decades. Whether it be 54th street in Newport Beach or the Volcom Pipe House on the North shore, Tom has captured countless amazing images through knowing and evolving his equipment, and putting in countless hours behind the lens. Although just as talented from the land, Carey's standout shots seem to always come while in the ocean. He uses his water ability like no other to position himself and read a wave and its rider as it's all unfolding in front of him, freezing moments in time that are often in the heaviest of conditions.
