Miah Klein is as passionate as anyone about capturing moments in time, and has a special love for the salt water world. It all started after he purchased his first film camera and housing back in 1999. Learning the art of surf photography from the late Larry 'Flame' Moore and Steve Sherman has helped to shape and solidify his current position as senior staff photographer at Surfline.com. From 2002-2006 he was the associate photo editor of Surfing Magazine; 2008 photo editor of Water Magazine, 2008-2011 photo editor of Surfline. He currently resides in San Clemente, California and spends most of his time chasing and documenting swells.
